Well, for one reason or another I didn't get a lot of sleep, and neither did many other people. But that doesn't matter, because we've made it to 1999.

The day is spent just blobbing around Paula's until I leave at about 4pm so that I can get home and showered before going to dinner at Arvis'. This was a good move, as it meant that I managed to miss the pig sex at Paula's.

Dinner at Sotto Sotto

313 N Highland Ave, in Inman Park. The Taglietelle ai Funghi was great, and the Chianti that our table drank three bottles of was also very good. They also had an awesome Tortellini; a wonderful combination of savory, spicy, and sweet. This has since been voted the best Italian resraurant in Atlanta by Creative Loafing.

Shooting with Ryan, Becky, Jay

Today I put my pacifist ethics to one side and went shooting with Ryan. So what did I get to use? A .22 calibre handgun, a couple of 9mm pistols, and a .44 Magnum. Oh boy are those things heavy. And they punch a wicked recoil. $20 for an afternoon's entertainment.
