I had dinner at an Ethiopian restaurant with Jenny and a small group of friends. The food was oddly flavoured and is pretty much variations on stewed meat and veges, and rather than using western cutlery, the food is picked up in a soft, flat bread. I'm not sure if I'd do Ethiopian again.

Afterwards, some of us went to "The Matrix"

Well, I didn't think much of this film. It was visually very pretty, but the story, script, and acting really were pretty crap. The best thing about it was the preview for Star Wars before it. That looks amazing. I am definitely going to see that - the effects, the costumes - everything looks beautiful; we shall have to wait and see about the script (but I'm not having too many worries about that).

Bought CivII Scenarios: Civs in Conflict and Settlers 3

It should probably be noted that my favourite game of all time is Civilisation II. I continue to play the basic version of this game (at Emperor level) in spite of the fact that I have both scenario add-ons, and the new Civ games (Call To Power and Alpha Centauri).

I checked out another baseball game today, with Jenny. I'm afraid I just couldn't get into it. And there is no spontaneity in the crowd and the beer is expensive and bad (US$4 for a can of Bud - you must be joking).

Jesse's brithday dinner at Ruth's Chris' Steakhouse

This place was awesome. Six of us (me, Jesse, Lauren, Eric, Eric's date, and another friend of Jesse's) went to Ruth's Chris's Steak House. I believe that ended up being in the range of $400-$500. Fortunately, the main courses were picked up by Jesse's father and the rest of us covered the drinks and appetisers and deserts.

We started with Martinis and moved on to wine with the meal. My steak was huge and cooked exactly as I like it - blue. Dinner was followed by desert and a rather pleasant Port.

Fly to Orlando for Coke meetings. That night have dinner at Universal Studios - Jimmy Buffet's and then do several of the bars. Very much fun. (Unfortunately I miss the Creatures playing in Atlanta)
