Fly to San Diego
Checked out Sea World, and got quite a bit of sun. C'est la vie.

Visited San Diego Zoo and Reuben H Fleet Science Center
Once again, I was in for a fair bit of sun. The zoo was excellent. The Science Centre less so.

Return from San Diego
The other big thing of the day is that I finished Ayn Rand's "Atlas Shrugged."
What did I think of it? Well, I found it contrived, petty, with exceedingly two-dimensional characters, and a plot that could not convincingly defend the philosophy being presented. This is not to say that I won't try out her other writings.
And once again, Pandora's Box has it's final night at Masquerade.
This provides an opportunity to catch up with people that haven't been out in a while, and to remember the great times at both Masquerade and Sol. Some pictures are in order...

Stacy...
Tonight was going to be my first night at MJQ's britpop night. It was, but that is only part of the tale.
The evening started innocently enough at the Local, drinking beers and chatting with Daniel and Rebecca. Sitting at the other end of the bar was a trio of young ladies. After a blur of shots and beers, I found myself talking to one of these ladies - Stacy.
Later, we went up to MJQ together and I spent the next several hours bouncing around the club to some of the best Britpop I've heard in a while. Daniel and Rebecca also turn up after they close up the Local
After the club closes, I walk Stacy home and we spend the next couple of hours drinking beer and chatting. It seems that Stacy is everything I like in a woman - attractive, intelligent, has goals, has opinions.
Eventually, Stacy drives me back to my car so that we can each get some sleep. It's a pity that this doesn't work out...

We go to the Local and rack up a $200+ tab. Lauren, Bria, John also make an appearance.

Secret Room at Fusion! Mike and I get a taxi to the club after knowcking back a fair bit of the Pineapple Finlandia that Mike brought over. We all continue to get rather merry, and Russ gives a life home, via Denny's.
Lauren fails to turn up to Denny's - it appears she had a better offer...
